After a string of four wins, Bennington's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Seward Bluejays by a score of 2-1. The Badgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Bennington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Seward, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Bennington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lincoln Southwest on the 26th. As for Seward, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Elkhorn South on the 27th.
