Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cobre). They came out on top against the Ruidoso Warriors by a score of 63-50 on Friday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 57-36 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Cobre has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Ruidoso, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Cobre has already played their next matchup (against Santa Teresa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ruidoso won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Robertson at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
