Basketball Recap: Preble Shawnee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ansonia on Friday, Preble Shawnee came back down to earth. The Preble Shawnee Arrows took a hard 50-35 fall against the Carlisle Indians on Saturday. The Arrows were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Preble Shawnee has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Carlisle, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Preble Shawnee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ross at 7:15 p.m. on February 11th. Carlisle has already played their next game (against Madison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
