A well-balanced attack led Hood River Valley over David Douglas in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Scots out of the water with a 55-6 final score. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Hood River Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.5 points over those games. As for David Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
