Basketball Recap: Bourbon County Victorious

Bourbon County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They snuck past the Bluegrass United Bluehawks with a 40-34 win.

Despite the loss, Bluegrass United still got an impressive performance from Kendall Duerson, who posted six points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Allie McGuire, who put up 12 points and seven boards.

Bourbon County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Bluegrass United, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Bourbon County has already played their next matchup, a 61-38 defeat against Paris on the 18th. As for Bluegrass United, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 26-13 loss against Berea on the 18th.
