Football Recap: Glendora Comes Up Short

Glendora fell victim to Colony and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Titans. The Tartans have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Sebastian Lawrence threw for 135 yards on 11 of 22 attempts. Nazir McGlothen was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colony to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Merren, who rushed for 114 yards and one TD. The team also got some help courtesy of Kane Allen, who rushed for 61 yards and one touchdown.

Glendora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Colony, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Glendora has already played their next contest, a 35-21 win against Claremont on the 24th. As for Colony, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 31-6 loss against Charter Oak on the 24th.
