Basketball Recap: Los Fresnos Drops Highest Score of Season Against IDEA North Mission

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Fresnos). They blew past IDEA North Mission, posting a 107-28 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Evan McChesney produced another solid effort going 6-for-8 en route to 15 points and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Munoz, who scored 15 points and three steals.

Los Fresnos smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Los Fresnos' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for IDEA North Mission, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Los Fresnos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 87-26 win against St. Joseph Academy on the 4th. As for IDEA North Mission, they will head out to challenge IDEA Sports Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
