Volleyball Recap: Chesterton's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Chesterton lost against Crown Point back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Tenley Davis paced Chesterton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Davis got some help from Reese Dilbeck and her 13 assists. Ryliegh Connor controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crown Point was led to victory by Bella Del Real and Cailin Duncan. Del Real had 14 digs and two aces, while Duncan had 17 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Duncan has posted since back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chesterton fell to 3-1. As for Crown Point, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Chesterton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Munster on the 19th. As for Crown Point, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Merrillville at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th.
