Soccer Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Comes Up Short

Illinois Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lisle Lions. If Illinois Math & Science Academy were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Lisle when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lisle, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Illinois Math & Science Academy will square off against Hinckley-Big Rock at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lisle, they will face off against Streator/Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
