Soccer Recap: California Lutheran Comes Up Short

California Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the La Sierra Academy Knights. That's two games in a row now that the C-Hawks have lost by exactly five goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Julio Santamaria, which was the first he's scored this season.

California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for La Sierra Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

California Lutheran will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Southlands Christian at 2:15 p.m. As for La Sierra Academy, they will head out to challenge Norton Science & Language Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. La Sierra Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 8.8 goals per game this season.
