Dickson County won against East Hickman County on Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Creek Wood Red Hawks a 6-0 shutout. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Dickson County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Creek Wood, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.

Dickson County and Creek Wood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Cougars (ranked 28th) will meet Kenwood (ranked 308th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Creek Wood will face off against Sycamore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (36 vs. 241).
