Softball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short

Arcadia was the 12-1 winner over Marcos de Niza when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Padres by a score of 4-3 on Monday.

Jane Ord made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.

Arcadia's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9-1. As for Marcos de Niza, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

While Arcadia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
