Recap: Erie First Christian Academy vs. Fort LeBoeuf Bison
Erie First Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 65 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort LeBoeuf. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (62), Erie First Christian Academy still had to take the loss.
Despite the defeat, Erie First Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Avery Collins scored 33 points. Collins scored a full 50.8% of Erie First Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Simon Gonzalez, who scored 13 points.
Erie First Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fort LeBoeuf, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Erie First Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Fort LeBoeuf at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they will be playing at home against Erie First Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m.
