Basketball Recap: Schuyler Starts Season with Win Against Madison

Schuyler gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Madison Dragons by a score of 25-17. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Schuyler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 37-32 victory against Cedar Bluffs on the 6th. As for Madison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-30 loss against Clarkson/Leigh on the 7th.
