Basketball Recap: Omak Takes a Loss

Omak suffered their closest loss since January 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cascade Kodiaks by a score of 46-43. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-40 back in December of 2024.

Omak's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Cascade, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

The future could be bright for both Omak and Cascade: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Omak will try to hand Tonasket their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cascade will look to extend Easton's four-game losing streak when the meet at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
