Preview: Lincoln vs. Madison
The Lincoln Tigers will be playing at home against the Madison Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Madison took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.
On Saturday, Lincoln earned a 3-1 win over Inspired Vision.
Lincoln hit Inspired Vision with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Estiven Gonzalez,
Wilfred Giron, and
Ntiharirizwa Paphil.
Meanwhile, sadly, Madison is still looking for their first win of the season after 11 contests. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 8-0 walloping at the hands of North Dallas on Wednesday. Madison has not had much luck with North Dallas recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for Madison, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
Lincoln took their victory against Madison in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 6-0. Does Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Madison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
