Softball Recap: Pennsauken Tech Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Pennsauken Tech's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Maple Shade Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Pennsauken Tech just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Pennsauken Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lydia Heatwole, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Pennsauken Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. Maple Shade has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Pennsauken Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Riverside on the 31st. As for Maple Shade, they have also already played their next matchup, a 20-3 win against Burlington City on the 31st.
