Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwest Guilford). They blew past the Grimsley Whirlies 87-61 on Tuesday. The Cowboys pushed the score to 77-44 by the end of the third, a deficit the Whirlies cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Grimsley still got an impressive performance from Ryan Debow, who posted ten points and three steals. Isaiah Whitsett was another key player, putting up eight points.

Southwest Guilford pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Grimsley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season.
