Soccer Recap: Pana Comes Up Short

Pana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians, falling 5-1.

Pana's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for Carlyle, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pana will host Mt. Pulaski at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pana will be up against Mt. Pulaski's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.54 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carlyle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wesclin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
