            Softball Recap: Weber Warriors vs. Fremont Silverwolves        
        
		
        
        
            Weber had lost six straight at home, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-19 to make it seven. They lost  17-2 to the Fremont Silverwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Silverwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-8  back in April.
 Weber saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aliya Rhees, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
As for Fremont, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.4 runs over those games.
On Fremont's side,  Adee Johnsen was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   six  hits. Johnsen was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Jessica Broadbent was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs.  Aly Tobias also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Weber will  challenge  rival Davis  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fremont is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Syracuse  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
