Village Christian has gone a perfect 5-0 against Heritage Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Crusaders will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 5:15 p.m. Heritage Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Village Christian, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Village Christian made easy work of Monrovia and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Village Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Whittier Christian. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Heralds 25-15 in the first set.

Heritage Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-11, 25-14, 25-21.

Heritage Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Village Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-13.
