Softball Recap: Jayton Takes a Loss

Jayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-14 to the Baird Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Saturday.

Jayton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Baird, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jayton and Baird will both be playing Hamlin the next time they take the field. Jayton will host Hamlin at 4:00 p.m. on April 1, while Baird will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on April 4.
