Fike is on a 13-game streak of home wins, while C.B. Aycock is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Fike Demons will host the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, Fike blew past Hunt, posting a 75-35 victory. The Demons have beaten the Warriors the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Jamaria Freeman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12-for-22 on her way to 30 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Her evening made it 19 games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Emory Skinner was another key player, going 9-for-14 to rack up 23 points.
Fike smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask C.B. Aycock). They put the hurt on West Johnston with a sharp 61-41 win on Tuesday. Given the Golden Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Wildcats are ranked 341st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
C.B. Aycock had a senior duo take command as Audrey Teasley posted 22 points in addition to five assists and five boards and Zakayla Sanders dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Teasley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Smith, who earned six points and six boards.
C.B. Aycock is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. Fike's victory bumped their record up to 24-0.
Keep an eye on the arc in Saturday's game: Fike has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 50% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for C.B. Aycock, though, as they've only made 25.3% of their three-pointers this season. Given Fike's sizable advantage in that area, C.B. Aycock will need to find a way to close that gap.
