Basketball Game Preview: New Underwood Tigers vs. Hill City Rangers

The New Underwood Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Hill City Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, New Underwood was able to grind out a solid win over Dupree, taking the game 79-69. The victory made it back-to-back wins for New Underwood.

Meanwhile, Hill City hadn't done well against Mahpiya Luta recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Hill City walked away with a 58-45 victory over Mahpiya Luta.

New Underwood's record is now 2-0. As for Hill City, their record is now an identical 2-0.

New Underwood took a serious blow against Hill City when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 54-25. Can New Underwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
