Volleyball Recap: Northwest Has No Trouble Against Riverview Gardens

Northwest had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Riverview Gardens on Thursday. The Lions blew past the Rams 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Northwest took every set by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-7, 25-3.

Northwest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15-5 record this season. As for Riverview Gardens, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverview Gardens, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wesclin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
