Los Alamos came out on top against Moriarty on Monday thanks in part to Aaliyah Chavez's efforts. Chavez scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The effort also marked the most RBI (two) she has had since back in March.

Chavez's strong effort led Los Alamos over Moriarty and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hilltoppers are 9-1 against the Pintos going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
