Baseball Game Preview: Manson Trojans vs. Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors

The Manson Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Manson will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Brewster, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Trojans put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 8-2 victory on Saturday. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Bears on their field since April 11, 2024.

Meanwhile, Almira-Coulee-Hartline entered their tilt with Wellpinit on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Redskins a 12-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by nine runs or more this season.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Manson, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9-1.

Manson took their win against Almira-Coulee-Hartline in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
