Central Cabarrus is 10-0 against Concord since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Central Cabarrus Vikings will host the Concord Spiders at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Thursday, Central Cabarrus came up short against Robinson and fell 48-35. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 137th).

Meanwhile, Concord played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 63-30 loss at the hands of Northwest Cabarrus.

Central Cabarrus will have to contain Natalie Nebrick as she made an impact in Concord's last game. She dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 blocks. The dominant performance gave Nebrick a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Williams, who posted eight points.

Central Cabarrus has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Central Cabarrus beat Concord 58-45 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Central Cabarrus repeat their success, or does Concord have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
