Greenfield entered their tilt with Pleasant Hope on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Greenfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

Kayleigh Back paced Greenfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Back got some help from Drew Miller and her 14 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Greenfield's win bumped their record up to 12-7-2. As for Pleasant Hope, they dropped their record down to 11-15-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Greenfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Russellville on the 11th. As for Pleasant Hope, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Marionville on the 11th.
