Soccer Game Preview: Hough vs. Garinger + How To Watch

The Hough Huskies will take on the Garinger Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hough's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Palisades with a sharp 3-0 victory. Given Hough's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Palisades are ranked 184th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hough hit Palisades with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Cox, Dylan Houle, and Connor Stark.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Garinger made sure to put some goals up on the board against Butler on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Garinger have beaten Butler the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Butler has come to flipping the script.

Hough's win bumped their record up to 13-4-3. As for Garinger, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6-2.
