Basketball Recap: Cosby Has No Trouble Against James River Midlothian

Cosby hadn't done well against James River Midlothian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cosby Titans strolled past the James River Midlothian Rapids with points to spare, taking the game 64-47. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 76-50 win the Rapids walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Cosby has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for James River Midlothian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Cosby will square off against Thomas Dale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Thomas Dale will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cosby surely won't give up without a fight.
