Soccer Game Preview: Kashmere vs. North Forest

The Kashmere Fighting Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the North Forest Bulldogs at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Kashmere fell victim to Worthing and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Colts, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Fighting Rams in their matchups with the Colts: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, North Forest hadn't done well against Northside recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way back in January. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was North Forest who was credited with the victory. North Forest got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Northside's two.

Kashmere's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for North Forest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Kashmere beat North Forest 5-3 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kashmere since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
