Basketball Recap: Newton Falls Comes Up Short

Newton Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 48-23 to the Southeast Pirates. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 35-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newton Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southeast, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Newton Falls will head out to face off against LaBrae at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast, they will take on Crestview at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Crestview will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Southeast surely won't give up without a fight.
