Triad lost to Centralia back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orphans, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three matches in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Triad who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-18.

Centralia's loss came despite strong showings from Hattie Castleman and Emaleigh Davis. Castleman had ten digs and six assists, while Davis had five digs and two aces.

Triad's win bumped their record up to 20-15. As for Centralia, their loss ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-7.

Triad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centralia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Richland County on the 25th.
