Baseball Recap: Calumet Snaps 12-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

The Calumet Copper Kings had just enough and edged out the Westwood Patriots 5-4 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Copper Kings have won by just one run.

Calumet's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. As for Westwood, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Calumet will take on Marquette at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Sentinels have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
