Basketball Recap: Cabrillo Jaguars vs. Jordan Panthers
After flying high against Compton last Friday, Cabrillo came back down to earth. The Cabrillo Jaguars were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 63-62 to the Jordan Panthers. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 66-50.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lincoln Dean, who went 6 of 11 en route to 20 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Aden Jones, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds.
