Volleyball Recap: Bishop Gorman Beats Carson for Their Ninth Straight Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Gorman had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Carson Senators with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Gaels as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Ayanna Watson paced Bishop Gorman's offense, picking up 15 kills. Watson got some help from Trinity Thompson and her 31 assists. Watson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Bishop Gorman's record is now 32-8. As for Carson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-8.

Looking ahead, Bishop Gorman will square off against Coronado at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
