Northside came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Monday.

Northside easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18.

Northside can attribute much of their success to Kyndall Bennett, who had nine digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Bennett a new career-high.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 27-2. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Northside will square off against John Carroll Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will head out to face off against American Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
