Basketball Recap: Progreso Takes a Loss

Progreso played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Lyford Bulldogs and fell 70-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Ants in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Progreso's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lyford, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Progreso will be playing at home against Santa Maria at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyford, they are taking a road trip to square off against Orange Grove at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
