Softball Recap: Chaparral Bobcats vs. West Trojans
Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 20-6 to the West Trojans.
Kendal Macklin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.
Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for West, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10-1 record this season.
Chaparral will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ellison at 6:30 p.m. Chaparral is facing Ellison at the right time seeing as Ellison is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for West, they have already played their next contest, a 19-1 defeat against Troy on the 18th.
