Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Andres Pacheco and Efrain Rivera Lead Lake Brantley to Victory

There's no place like home for Lake Brantley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lake Buena Vista Vipers on Friday.

Lake Brantley easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Lake Brantley was led to victory by Efrain Rivera and Andres Pacheco. Rivera had 23 assists and four digs, while Pacheco had eight digs. Rivera is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Lake Brantley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lake Buena Vista, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Lake Brantley and Lake Buena Vista will both be playing Harmony the next time they take the court. Lake Brantley will host Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lake Buena Vista will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
