Softball Recap: Pequannock Victorious

While Pequannock's victory against Chatham wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Cougars on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Golden Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pequannock's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Chatham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Pequannock has already played their next game (against Nutley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chatham, they will challenge Hanover Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
