Basketball Recap: Archer Comes Up Short

Archer was the 64-40 winner over Sequoyah when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 69-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sequoyah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Archer will head out to take on South Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Comets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.58 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sequoyah, they will be playing at home against Woodstock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
