Basketball Recap: Blanchester Comes Up Short

Blanchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Georgetown G-Men. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-40 back in January.

Blanchester's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Georgetown, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

As of now, neither Blanchester nor Georgetown have any future games scheduled.
