            The Lockport Porters will head out on the road to  take on  the Lincoln-Way Central Knights  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Lockport is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last three games.
If Lockport beats Lincoln-Way Central with nine  runs on Monday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  matches with that exact score. The Porters came out on top against Morris by a score of  9-5  on Friday.
 Joey DalPonte looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate,  Nick Moerman was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one  home run and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Adam Kozak, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.

 Lockport came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln-Way Central when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, sneaking past  4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Porters since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
