Baseball Recap: Bremen Comes Up Short

Bremen was the 11-1 winner over Triton when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bremen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aden Hunziker, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Bremen's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Triton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Bremen will take on Jimtown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Jimmies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Triton, they will face off against Winamac at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
