Basketball Recap: Crowder Skates Past Wetumka with Ease

Crowder came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wetumka Chieftains 55-16. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Crowder's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.6 points per game. As for Wetumka, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9.
