Basketball Recap: Incline Highlanders vs. Spring Creek Spartans
Incline played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Spring Creek Spartans, falling 66-40. The Highlanders were down 51-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Incline still got an impressive performance from Halen Hanson, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Nolen Francis produced another solid performance shooting 61% from the field on his way to 26 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals for Spring Creek. The team also got some help courtesy of Snowdon Williams, who had 12 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Incline and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Spring Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Incline has already played their next matchup, a 70-26 defeat against Elko on the 13th. As for Spring Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-54 win against South Tahoe on the 13th.
