Basketball Recap: Springfield Township Takes a Loss

Springfield Township's game on Friday was all tied up 30-30 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quakertown Panthers. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Springfield Township's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Quakertown, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield Township will venture away from home to square off against Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quakertown, they will head out on the road to challenge Council Rock North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
