Basketball Recap: Chillicothe Comes Up Short

Chillicothe lost against Guthrie back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chillicothe Eagles were outmatched by the Guthrie Jaguars and fell 69-18. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-11.

This is the second loss in a row for Chillicothe and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Guthrie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Chillicothe will face off against Knox City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Guthrie, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Guthrie Jaguars take on the Hermleigh Cardinals at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday.
